In 2007, the Flexi Respite Planned Activity Group, a group of frail aged, elderly and people with disabilities, arranged with the support of Gateway volunteers and staff, to hold a fundraiser morning tea for the Cancer Council Australia. The event was a success, and will remain an annual event. The atmosphere at the Flexi Respite program is warm and inviting, and the general public is welcome to drop by, meet the staff, clients and volunteers and find out more about Gateway Social
Support Options.
This friendly social support group meets each Wednesday during school terms and provides much needed respite to carers in the cities of Hobsons Bay and Maribyrnong areas. For further information about Gateway’s Client Services or Volunteer opportunities, please call the office on 9399 3511.
Please note: Pink is the theme of the day, so come in something pink.
